Chickpea and Spinach Salad

Time: 1/2 hour
Few Tips:
  • Salad tastes great even without the yogurt - my hubby hates yogurt :-)
  • No need to use cayenne pepper - normal mirchi powder is fine..
  • Optional: Use freshly roasted cumin seeds for the powder. I liked the flavor better than regular cumin powder but - this may be completely un-necessary :-)
  • Make this salad couple of hours ahead of time and keep it covered in the fridge. This way the spinach leaves will absorb the dressing..
